Dog fights off burglar in Berks County

CENTRE TWP., Pa. -- A dog in Berks County took a bite out of crime while protecting his owner's house.

Police say a burglar broke into a home on Railroad Road in Centre Township, Pennsylvania Tuesday.

He went for the bedroom, but he was attacked by the dog inside.

Police say the owner came home to find things knocked over and blood throughout the house.

They think the suspect could be connected to other burglaries throughout Berks County.
