Stolen dog put up for sale online

HOUSTON, Tex. (WPVI) -- A family from Suburban Houston has their dog back again after they say it was stolen and put up for sale online.

Sushi, the 11-year-old terrier apparently escaped from their backyard in December.

A few weeks later, a dog identical to Sushi was posted on Craigslist.

A first attempt to confront the seller failed then a new ad was posted recently so the owner set up a meeting.

A friend brought along a microchip reader, which the owner said proved the dog was hers.

Even though the dog's coat was a different color, the owner Kara Lowe said, "I don't know what they colored her with, she's just more brown."
