Major drug bust in Berks County

READING, Pa. (WPVI) -- A law enforcement sweep in Berks County ended with several suspected drug dealers off the streets of Reading.

Detectives executed dozens of warrants Wednesday morning.

14 people were taken away in handcuffs.

Authorities say the suspects are accused of pushing heroin, cocaine and marijuana in several area communities.

In addition to the arrests, detectives also seized $9,000 worth of heroin.

Investigators are still looking for 15 more people.
