Giant Food Stores recall two types of organic edamame

PHILADELPHIA -- Giant Food Stores is recalling two types of organic edamame because the product may contain soy.

The supermarket says Nature's Promise Organic Shelled Edamame and Nature's Promise Edamame in Pods may contain the soy protein, which is not listed on the ingredients label.

The UPC codes included in the recall are:

Nature's Promise Organic Shelled Edamame, 16 oz., UPC 68826712764

Nature's Promise Organic Edamame in Pod, 16 oz., UPC 68826702124

There have been no reports of illnesses.

Customers who have purchased the edamame should throw out any unused portions and bring their receipt to Giant for a full refund.
