PHILADELPHIA, Pa (WPVI) -- Friday the 13th was a rocking night at the Fillmore in Philadelphia as Japanese Metal band Babymetal joined forces with Swedish Metal rockers Avatar for a night to remember.

With the band's backing members wearing robes and helmets, and lead performers dancing, singing and performing martial art like moves in unison. The performance was more then your average Metal concert, it was more like a full theater performance. Through perfect choreography, eye catching costumes and computer inspired imagery, the band managed to stun at each and every turn through out the night.

While the opening act came out with a look of a circus act from a horror film, Avatar came out swinging from the very start of the show. The style and sound of the rockers from Sweden make them unlike any other today. You could describe the look of the band as a cross between Marilyn Manson and a Psycho Circus but the music is pure gold. From the moment you entered the Fillmore, it was clear, "it looked like a freak show, sounded like a freak show, and smelled like a freak show," it was Avatar!
