Officials say two people were injured in an apartment fire in Pennsauken, New Jersey Saturday morning.

PENNSAUKEN (WPVI) -- Officials say two people were injured in an apartment fire in Pennsauken, New Jersey Saturday morning.



The fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. along the 5500 block of Highland Avenue.



Flames were pouring from the second floor when firefighters arrived.



One person managed to escape and was taken to the hospital.



They are being treated for smoke inhalation.



So far, there is no word on other injuries or what sparked the blaze.
