2 elderly residents hospitalized after Frankford fire

FRANKFORD -- Two elderly residents are hospitalized after a fire in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.

The fire broke out just before 9:00 a.m. on the 5500 block of Harbison Avenue.

Arriving firefighters found the 2 residents already outside the home.

The fire was located in the kitchen area and quickly brought under control.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
