Record catch: Largest flathead catfish ever caught in Pennsylvania

A Lancaster County man is showing off quite a catch.

Jeff Bonawitz reeled in a record-sized flathead catfish from the Susquehanna River last month.

The fish tips the scales at 50 pounds, 7 ounces.

It is the largest ever caught in Pennsylvania.

Bonawitz decided bragging rights were enough for him.

He and his 8-year-old nephew released the catfish back into the water.
