Driver smashes into front window of restaurant in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after the driver of a car smashed into the front window of a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday along the 4800 block of Frankford Avenue near Wakeling Street.

Police say the driver lost control trying to avoid another car.

The vehicle struck a light pole, and then smashed into the New China takeout restaurant.

The driver walked away with only minor injuries.
