Freebie Friday: Movies, Hispanic festival, slurpee

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Here are your freebies for this weekend, July 8-10!

FREE MOVIE

Grab the picnic blanket and chairs and head to Mount Airy tonight to see The Minions. The movie will begin at 8:30p.m. at Pleasant Playground in the 6700 block of Chew Avenue. Kids activities get started at 6:00p.m.

FREE HISPANIC FESTIVAL

This weekend, the Hispanic Fiesta takes over Penn's Landing. The free two-day festival celebrates Philadelphia's Latino community and works to raise awareness of the culture. There will be a lot of music, dance, ethnic foods, and crafts starting Saturday.

FREE STORYTIME

If you're looking for a break from the heat, there's a free storytime for kids at Barnes and Nobles Saturday morning. At 11:00a.m., there will be a reading of Dr. Seuss' Daisy-Head Mayzie.
