FYI Philly: Preakness at the Piazza

The Preakness Stakes are a week and a half away and the excitement is building.

Girls in big hats and guys in fun bow ties, means it must be time for the Preakness at the Piazza.

Come celebrate at the Piazza Schmidt's at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16th.

Geoff Gross, Chairman of the Preakness at the Piazza says, "Last year we had 1200 people at the event."

Guest can bet on their favorite contenders and watch the big race on a 40-foot screen.

You can enjoy a night of food, drinks and of course dancing.

The Preakness event does not disappoint when it comes to fashions.

Pari Hashemi, Chairman of the Preakness at the Piazza says, "There a fashion competition that we hold every year, so there are different prizes."
