PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A new recommendation urges parents to do more to protect infants from the sun, especially if they have fair skin.
It says parents of infants as young as 6 months should be shown how to be sun safe.
That includes UV protectant clothing and sunscreens that provide a physical barrier, like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
And babies under 6 months shouldn't go into direct sun at all.
