Firefighters battle high-rise apartment blaze in North Philadelphia

Firefighters battled a high-rise apartment blaze in North Philadelphia Thursday night.

The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of North Broad Street.

According to fire officials, the blaze started on the seventh floor.

They evacuated the building while they doused the flames.

It took about a half hour to get the fire under control

There were no reports of any injuries.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
