House collapses in West Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Authorities say part of a house gave way in West Kensington Tuesday afternoon.

A side wall collapsed, exposing the inside of a home along the 2300 block of Waterloo Street.

Utility companies and License and Inspections investigators responded to the scene.

The two-story rowhome is connected to an abandoned property.

So far, no word on what may have caused the collapse.
