In Chester, Delaware county, officials broke ground on a new charter school

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- In Chester, Delaware county, officials broke ground on a new charter school.

The Chester School for the Arts is expected to be ready by the start of classes for the 2017 school year.

It will have 650 students in grades K through 12.

The new campus is being built along the 12 hundred block of highland avenue, on land that used to be owned by the Chester Housing Authority.
