Before the Liberty Medal Ceremony Tuesday night, I sat down with Malala Yousafzai.

and talked about her education rights campaign, the medal, and another prize that she won recently - the Nobel Peace Prize.

"I was in my chemistry class. My teacher came and told me that you have won the Noble Peace Prize and I said thank you to her," Malala said.

"When the teacher came I thought I had done something really bad, but the news was not really bad," she said.
