KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Fire crews braved cold temperatures while battling a fire at a century-old house in Kennett Square, Chester County.
The fire broke out around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of North Union Street.
Crews were met with heavy fire upon arrival and they worked quickly to get all the occupants out.
One person suffered smoke inhalation.
The view from Chopper 6 HD showed flames shooting from the roof of the home, which was built in the 1880s.
Smoke was also billowing into the air and a second alarm was struck.
The flames were brought under control around 7:00 p.m.
No word yet what sparked the blaze.
