PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Eagles returned to Philadelphia on Monday afternoon after winning Super Bowl 59.

The plane landed just before 4:30 p.m.

A victory parade is scheduled for Friday.

A bank in Philadelphia was seen with its windows smashed early on Monday after a night of revelry in the city following the Eagles' Super Bowl win.

It is one of several incidents around the city, according to police.

Philadelphia Police asked crowds downtown to "clear the streets" early on Monday morning, following reports of rowdy celebrations.

Police say 47 arrests were made for various crimes.

There were some chaotic scenes amid the celebrations in Philadelphia overnight Sunday, as some Eagles fans clashed with police after the Super Bowl win.

Thousands took to the streets around City Hall to revel in the team's second Super Bowl championship.

Officers moved in to clear the throngs of people, but like any good party, no one wanted to go home.

It was a hard party to break up and took hours.

A text alert went out to phones around 3:15 a.m. on Monday, ordering crowds to disperse.

Police release arrest details following Super Bowl celebration

Philadelphia police made multiple arrests for various crimes, including assault on police, during the celebration in the streets on Sunday night after the Eagles won Super Bowl LIX.

Action News learned that there were six arrests for assaulting officers.

Another four arrests were made for crimes including aggravated assault (2 arrests), recklessly endangering another person (1 arrest) and 3rd-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct (1 arrest).

There were also eight arrests for vandalism:

-Four arrests for vandalizing Sanitation Dept. trucks

-Vandalism of Santander Bank at 1616 Walnut St.

-Vandalism of Free People Store at 1632 Walnut St.

-Vandalism of Brooks Brothers at 1513 Walnut St

Another 29 citations were handed out for disorderly conduct.

Thieves steal truck from Loews hotel, burn linen amid Eagles celebrations

Police say a linen truck was stolen at some point during the night Sunday into Monday.

Thieves took it from the Loews hotel and used to barricade Market Street. The linens were then apparently dumped onto the street and set ablaze.

Multiple fires were also set in dumpsters, according to police.

The pile of burnt linens were still along Market Street early Monday morning.
