BETHLEHEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- The all-clear has been given after a lockdown at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pa.
The incident began at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday after, police say, someone used a pre-paid phone to call 911 to report someone with a gun in the school.
The school was placed on lockdown and students were held in the building for more than three hours as police searched for any threat.
The incident was cleared around 4:30 p.m.
Action News was there as students started to leave the building.
Earlier images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed several police vehicles, including a tactical unit, parked outside the school and officers standing at one entrance.
The view from the Action Cam showed a line of parents waiting outside the school during the search.
A member of the school board told Action News that a female student was led out of the building, but there were no details as to why.
Frank Taylor has been texting with his daughter all afternoon.
"She first texted me 12 minutes after 1 p.m. telling me the school was on lockdown. I was on lunch from work and I just headed over here because she said she was really afraid," Taylor said. "She was hearing a lot of commotion in the hallway, K-9s in the hall - she didn't know what was going on."
No injuries were reported.
There was no word on any suspects or an arrest.
