PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Made in America ended in perfect tune even after concert goers were briefly evacuated Sunday due to severe thunderstorms moving through the area.
Around 6:20 in the evening, organizers urged attendees to evacuate the Parkway, seek shelter and to keep their tickets for re-entry.
After thunder and lightning passed through with a round of downpours, concert-goers were allowed back in around 7:15 p.m.
The brief evacuation did cause delays but the event continued as planned with some revised set times.
The rain didn't damper the crowds.
Organizers say this year's event attracted roughly 80,000 people along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and went on without any major problems.
Young & Sick kicked off the festival on Saturday followed by acts including Big Daddy Kane, Cherub and Mayer Hawthorn.
Saturday night ended with performances by Kanye West, The National and a host of other acts.
On Sunday performers like Tiesto, Garth Emery, Spoon, Girl Talk and more had the crowd rocking on four different stages.
The night wrapped up with highly anticipated headliners like Pharrell Williams and Kings of Leon.
The two-day extravaganza curated by rap mogul Jay Z has been held annually in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend since 2012.
This year, he added a second event in Los Angeles.
The Budweiser Made in America Festival in Philadelphia will benefit United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and United Way of Lancaster County.
