The winning bid for an iconic dress that belonged to Marilyn Monroe sold for $4.8 million.
She wore the sheer, super tight, spangled flesh-colored gown when she famously sang Happy Birthday to JFK.
Museum chain "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" bought the dress.
This purchase breaks the previous record for most expensive dress at an auction.
And that also belonged to Monroe.
In 2011, someone paid $4.6 million for the dress that flew up as she stood over a subway grate in "The Seven Year Itch."
