Pedestrian struck near McGuire Air Force Base

NEW HANOVER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian is critical after being struck by a vehicle in Burlington County.

It happened around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday on the unit block of Cookstown Road in New Hanover Township near the McGuire Air Force Base.

Medics arrived and transported the pedestrian to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for care.

At this time, there is no word on the victim's identity.
