Firefighter injured battling house blaze in Mercer County

LAWRENCE TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A firefighter was injured battling a house blaze in Lawrence Township, New Jersey.

The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday inside a house on the unit block of Eldridge Avenue.

Residents were not harmed and were able to get out safely.

The firefighter suffered an ankle injury at the scene.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
