A man was rescued after getting trapped inside a collapsing building in Middletown, Delaware.

The man who was rescued after getting trapped inside a collapsing building in Middletown, Delaware has been identified.

It happened around 2:30 Friday afternoon in the 600 block of Howell School Road.

Crews were working on renovations inside the home when the collapse happened.

The victim, 27-year-old Horace Lee of New Castle, Delaware, was briefly trapped and had to be pulled from the site.

Officials say several roof trusses collapsed onto Lee.

He suffered back injuries and was taken to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

Three other men were working on the house suffered injuries.

They were treated at the scene.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
