Body pulled from Schuylkill ID'd as missing Philadelphia man

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A body pulled from the Schuylkill River on Friday was that of a missing Northeast Philadelphia man.

69-year-old Vito Maglio disappeared in December.

A few days later, his SUV was found abandoned and torched.

Police now say he died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head, the victim of a homicide.

At this time police have not made any arrests nor figured out the motive.
