Man wanted for 9 crimes in Grays Ferry

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are on the lookout for a serial burglar in the Grays Ferry section of the city.

The man, who police say often drives a light blue minivan, has hit nine different businesses this month, and most of the crimes have happened this week.

On Saturday he targeted five stores, all on the 2400 block of Aramingo Avenue.

Police say each time he smashed the glass front door and stole various items.

Then on Monday, three more companies fell victim.

All of the crimes were committed early in the morning - between 5 and 6 a.m.
