Box truck flips just outside Trenton Tunnel

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- The southbound lanes of Route 29 were shut down following a box truck crash in Trenton, New Jersey.

It happened just outside the Trenton Tunnel around 1 p.m. Friday.

Three people were in the truck at the time. All were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say traffic was being diverted onto Cass Street during the cleanup.

The crash is still under investigation.
