BORDENTOWN TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash that injured at least five people shut down a portion of the New Jersey Turnpike in Bordentown Township for more than an hour Sunday morning.
Police say as many as eight cars crashed in the southbound inner lanes around 5 a.m..
The crash completely shut down all lanes between exit 7 and 7A for a time. By 6:50 a.m., traffic was only getting by in the left lane.
The accident scene was cleared by 7 a.m.
Action News is told the injuries are minor.
