19-year-old injured in Grays Ferry shooting

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a 19-year-old man injured.

It happened around 4:25 p.m. Monday along the 1700 block of South 29th Street.

Police say someone opened fire on the street, striking the man once in the arm and three times in the thigh.

The victim was rushed by police to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for care.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Police are still trying to determine a motive.
