ELKTON, Md. (WPVI) -- A man and a woman are in custody in connection with a double murder in northeast Maryland.
Police say 25-year-old Derrick Carroll fled across state lines after he strangled two people in their 70's.
According to police, Carroll also stole cash, a car and several guns from the Maryland home last week.
He was picked up over the weekend in Trenton, New Jersey.
27-year-old Ellen Lough of Maryland was also arrested over the weekend.
Police say she helped Carroll plan the attack, and went with him to the home last week.
