WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- The Delaware State Police have announced that a third victim has died due to injuries sustained in a fatal tour bus crash last month.
43-year-old Jyostina Poojari from Mumbai, India was a passenger on the bus.
Police say she suffered multiple injuries and was transported to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center in critical condition.
She was pronounced dead on Thursday at 5:18 a.m.
Passengers 54-year-old Hua'y Chen from New York City and 30-year-old Idil Bahsi from Istanbul, Turkey also died.
Yesterday, a court commissioner rescheduled a preliminary hearing for the driver of a tour bus.
The commissioner postponed the hearing after 56-year-old Jinli Zhao of Flushing, New York, who speaks little English, appeared in court Wednesday without a lawyer and was unable to answer simple questions.
A prosecutor said he had spoken by phone with a New York lawyer who intends to represent Zhao, but the lawyer has not filed papers to appear in Delaware.
Through a friend acting as an interpreter, Zhao asked for a month's delay and was granted a Nov. 5 hearing date.
Zhao was charged with two counts of operating a vehicle causing the death of another person after the September 21 crash.
