CAMDEN, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who they say swindled money out of an elderly woman.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video walking into a Camden, Delaware Walmart last Monday morning, with the 87 year old victim. Police say the suspect made a small purchase in order to get cash back on the victim's personal check.
A similar transaction happened at a Walmart in Cheswold, Delaware with the same suspect and the same victim.
Police were tipped off to the suspect after the victim told her friend who manages her finances she may have given someone money, who she didn't know.
The suspect is shown in surveillance photos wearing a blue jacket and gray pants. Police say she may be driving a silver sedan. If you have any information, you're asked to call Delaware Crime Stoppers.
