HORSHAM, Pa. (WPVI) -- An adult and a child are injured after their ATV crashed into a house in Horsham, Montgomery County.
The incident was reported on the 600 block of Winding Road just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police tell Action News a 54-year-old male and a 4-year-old boy were riding the ATV in their backyard when they lost control and struck the house.
The adult male was transported by ground to the hospital for injuries that did not appear life threatening.
The child was flown to an area hospital with abdominal pain and a head injury.
This incident comes after several ATV accidents in Philadelphia, some fatal.
On Saturday, a 15-year-old boy was critically injured in an ATV accident in the Cobbs Creek section of Philadelphia. Witnesses say he was racing with another boy.
On Thursday, a 38-year-old ATV rider died after he crashed in Tacony.
And nearly two weeks ago, a 19-year-old man on a mini dirt bike was killed when he slammed into an SUV.
