Armed suspect sought in 7-Eleven robbery in Mayfair

MAYFAIR (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the armed suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven store in Philadelphia's Mayfair section early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on the 3300 block of Tyson Avenue.

Police say the suspect walked into the store carrying a weapon and demanded money.

He then ran off with about $300 in cash.

There were no injuries reported.

Investigators are looking for clues from the surveillance video.
