OVERBROOK (WPVI) -- Two people were killed and one person wounded when gunfire broke out on an Overbrook block and police still need help finding the shooter.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday January 4th, 2014 police were called to the 6200 block of Media Street.
"They get there and there's a crowd of people there. They find out that there was a big shooting there. There was shell casings all over the place," said John Apeldorn, Citizens Crime Commission.
But police say no victims were at the scene.
"We're told that there was a Honda Civic, gray in color, that went over to the hospital. Police go to the hospital - the Honda Civic is parked there. It's got gun shots and all kinds of damage," said Apeldorn.
Officials say three men were taken inside Lankanau Hospital for gunshot wounds. Two of the victims died.
"Somebody was out to do them in. We're lucky that some innocent bystanders weren't struck," said Apeldorn.
The City of Philadelphia is offering a reward of up to $20,000 through the Citizens Crime Commission for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
All you need to do is make a call to either 215-546-TIPS (8477) or 215-686-TIPS (8477).

All calls will remain anonymous.
