PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A former Philadelphia Traffic Court judge was sentenced after being found guilty of lying to the FBI in an investigation into a ticket fixing scheme.
Willie Singletary was sentenced Thursday to 20 months in prison for perjury.
In addition to serving jail time, Singletary will have to pay more than $1,500 in fines and was ordered to one year of supervised release.
He was found guilty back in July 2014.
Singletary's co-defendants - Michael Lowry, Robert Mulgrew, and Thomasine Tynes - were convicted of committing perjury before the federal grand jury.
Co-defendants H. Warren Hogeland, Kenneth Miller, Fortunato Perri, William Hird, and Henry P. Alfano pleaded all guilty prior to trial.
Traffic court was eliminated after the scandal, Philadelphia now handles cases in municipal court.
