Giant possum draws crowds in Philly's Nicetown section

An unlikely neighbor has taken up residence in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia, and caused quite a stir in the process.

The Action Cam was on the 1700 block of Dounton Street where a giant possum drew some cautiously enthusiastic crowds Friday morning.

Some stopped to stare as it sat on a fence. Others were a bit caught off guard by the animal and quickly crossed the street.

A possum sighting is rather rare both in that area and at that time of day, but no word on whether the animal was sick.

Animal control was called out to the scene.
