Police ID man struck, killed by car in Burlington County

EDGEWATER PARK, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 32-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Burlington County Tuesday morning.

It happened at about 6:38 a.m. on Route 130 South in Edgewater Park, New Jersey.

Police said Olufemi George-Taylor attempted to cross the southbound lanes of Route 130 toward the Willingboro side of the highway when he was struck by a white Honda CRV.

George-Taylor was not at an intersection when attempting to cross the highway, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, no charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle.
