Police: Woman robbed at gunpoint in Tioga

Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who robbed a woman at gunpoint in the city's Tioga section.

TIOGA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint in the city's Tioga section.



It happened on October 29 around 9:30 p.m.



Police say the woman was walking on the 1500 block of West Pike Street when a dark colored vehicle turned onto the street and pulled into a parking spot.



One suspect got out of the passenger side and began following her while a second suspect stayed inside the parked car.



He approached the woman from behind, pointed a gun at her head and demanded cash.



The suspect got away with the victim's tote bag which contained her wallet, ID, $2 cash and several credit cards.



He then ran back into the waiting vehicle and fled the scene, heading south on Germantown Avenue.



Police describe the suspect as a black male 18-21 years old, 5'9" tall, 180lbs with a light complexion. He was wearnig a black hooded jacket and black pants.



He got away in a dark colored Toyota Camry, driven by another unknown person.
