PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police and the FBI are looking for a serial bank robber who they say struck twice in one day.

The suspect robbed the Wells Fargo at 52nd and Jefferson in West Philadelphia around 11:00 a.m. Friday.

Then less than two hours later, police in Cheltenham say he robbed the PNC at 101 South Easton Road in Glenside.

On Tuesday, Action News was at the PNC on the 5900 block of North Broad Street just minutes after police say this same man robbed that bank.

Investigators believe he's actually responsible for a total of five robberies and two attempted robberies in December.

In each of the incidents, the robber handed the teller a threatening demand note but did not show a weapon.

A reward may be available for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.
