Suspect robs TD Bank in University City

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the suspect who they say robbed a TD Bank in University City.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. at the branch in the 3700 block of Walnut Street.

Authorities say the suspect came in and presented a demand note to a teller.

After getting approximately $400, he fled on foot.

Police only describe the suspect as about 5'7" tall, wearing black clothing and a black hat.

Fortunately no one was injured.
