Wildfire in Atlantic County under control

MIZPAH, N.J. (WPVI) -- The New Jersey Forest Fire service was called out to fight a wildfire in Atlantic County Monday.

Crews responded to 3rd and Asbury Avenues in Mizpah at 1:00 p.m Monday.

They had the situation under control an hour later.

Firefighters say the flames charred 27 acres.

There is no word yet on what started the fire.
