Man hospitalized after being shot in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA -- Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital in North Philadelphia Thursday night.

The incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at 7th and Girard Avenue.

The unidentified victim was shot in the leg and rushed to Hahnemann Hospital.

He is listed in stable condition.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive for the shooting.
