Fight on SEPTA bus ends in stabbing in Olney

OLNEY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police and SEPTA police are investigating a stabbing reportedly on a SEPTA bus in the Olney section.

The incident happened just before 10:00 a.m. Friday on the Route J westbound bus.

SEPTA officials say two passengers were involved in an altercation when one of them allegedly stabbed the other.

One person was taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment.

The second person was taken into custody.

So far, there is no word on the condition of the victim or what led to the stabbing.
