CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A crash involving an overturned vehicle jammed traffic on I-95 in Delaware County Tuesday morning.
It happened at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound lanes approaching the Kerlin Street exit.
Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed a sedan lying on its roof, blocking the two left lanes.
Action News is told the driver was trapped and had to be extricated.
There was no immediate word on the extent of that person's injuries or what led to the crash.
It took crews about 45 minutes to free the driver, right the vehicle and tow it away.
The two left lanes were still blocked at 7:00 a.m. One lane of traffic was getting by.
The traffic backup approaching the scene extended back for miles.
