Peacock attacks kid in Florida park

ORLANDO, Fla. (WPVI) -- A trip to a park turned frightful for a Florida mother when a peacock attacked her child.

It happened in Orlando Tuesday morning.

Laura Brown says the peacock jumped onto her 2-year-old son Jackson's head, barely missing his eye with its talons.

Brown says when she called the park ranger, he told her he noticed the birds being more aggressive lately.

She wants the wildly colored birds gone.

An Orange County spokesperson apologized to Brown, and said she would look into the matter.
