Pedestrian struck, killed by pickup in Wilmington

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened just before 4:30 p.m. Friday in the unit block of South Market Street.

Police say a male pedestrian was struck by a pickup, which did stop.

He was rushed to Christiana Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's identity has not been released at this time.
