Bucks Co. deputy sheriff arrested and charged with lewd acts

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Bucks County Deputy Sheriff is in trouble after allegedly exposing himself at Silver Lake Park in Bristol.

The alleged incident happened Tuesday.

Court documents show Deputy Sheriff Stephen Springfield, 39, of Bristol Twp., is facing several charges including indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.

Springfield was taken into custody Saturday. Bail was set at $25,000. He is currently out on bond.

Springfield is scheduled to appear in a Bucks County court for a preliminary hearing on October 18.
