2-alarm fire in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County

WHITEMARSH TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire in Montgomery County.

The fire started shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday on the 500 block of Monticello Lane in Whitemarsh Township.

Authorities say the fire started in the garage of a large single family house.

It quickly spread to the main structure of the house. A 2nd alarm was struck.

There are no reports of injuries.
