East Norriton Middle School briefly evacuated

EAST NORRITON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- East Norriton Middle School in Montgomery County was briefly evacuated following an unspecified threat.

Police say the threat came into the principal's office around 10 a.m. Monday.

The building was quickly evacuated and students were taken to Norristown High School for lunch while authorities swept the building.

Nothing was found and students returned after about an hour.

Officials believe the threat was a hoax.
